Our Youth in Action
Flourish is a program dedicated to the support of our pre-apprentices as they graduate from Build Trybe.
Flourish provides transition support working closely with the young adult to build their resume, prepare for next steps, and then apply to jobs and advanced training programs across Kansas City.
This program follows every graduated pre-apprentice for a full year, which includes quarterly surveys, transportation stipend for
employment, and helps them connect to community and resources.
How to Support
Partners & Mentors
Partner with Flourish to make a direct impact by helping graduates take their next step with confidence. Businesses can open doors through employment opportunities, while individuals can offer guidance and support through mentorship. Together, we can build pathways to meaningful careers and lasting community connections.
Events
Support our mission just by showing up. Our monthly shop parties and seasonal markets let you connect with our team, learn more about the program, shop unique products made in our shop, and see what our youth are building.
Sponsor Events
By sponsoring and attending fundraising events such as our “Savor the Sound” gala, you help provide vital resources for our programs. Your support makes paid training, mentorship, and opportunities possible for our youth.
Volunteer
Support the program by volunteering or mentoring, either on your own or with your company. By sharing your time, skills, or industry experience, you help guide our youth, build their confidence, and open doors to future career paths
