At Build Trybe, our farms aren’t just fields, they’re classrooms, community spaces, and stepping stones to lifelong opportunity. Through hands-on agricultural training, mentorship, and purpose-driven work, youth learn how to grow food, build community, and harvest real skills for future success.
Ozanam Teaching Farm
Rooted in therapeutic vocational learning, the Ozanam Farm empowers apprentices to grow, harvest, and cook fresh produce used in our Seed to Plate curriculum. From greenhouse to garden and from seed to storage, youth gain valuable agricultural and culinary experience that nourishes both bodies and futures.
Hickman Mills Farm
A vibrant growing hub where youth get their hands in the soil, learn seasonal planting and harvesting, and help cultivate fresh produce that feeds into our Seed to Plate culinary pathway. From bed prep to market tables, this site grounds students in the rhythms of regenerative agriculture.
Delasalle Farm at Delasalle Education Center
This new urban farm, co-created with students, Build Trybe, and community partners, is transforming vacant land into a living learning landscape. Here, youth lead the design, buildout, and cultivation of a sustainable farm that strengthens food access, builds trade skills, and connects the broader community through shared harvests.
